The Fundación para la Vivienda Rural Costa Rica-Canadá has left its footprints in the rural areas, changing the lives of the people and promoting a substantial improvement in each of the communities and families.

Places that didn't have public services such as drinkable water, electricity and telephone, now have them. Also, places with no adequate access roads, now have the possibility of improving them.

We also attend vulnerable sectors of the society like women that are the head of their homes and indigenous groups, identifying with their needs and solving their housing needs.

A high percentage of the market's segment of the rural area that the Fundación attends, is represented by agricultural and farm labor, small agricultural owners, domestic servants, bus drivers, commerce dependents, etc.

The personal attention that the Foundation provides, includes from the families' selection, through all the construction process which allows maintaining high effectiveness and efficiency.

An essential element is the generation of jobs for the rural area, as well as a collateral impact in other issues of the local economy such as transportation, food, warehouses and other, that generates a reduction of the costs of the construction process, from which the families can take advantage to obtain a better housing solution.
